Hopefully, prose will suffice.I wish I could write you an adequate poem full of gorgeous flowing words and minimal clichés. Words that haven’t been invented yet— strings of letters that only we’d know the meaning of. Words that said things correctly like that hallmark card you bought me; the ones I love and have always wanted to give or to receive. Mostly receive. I want to plant flowers to spell out your name when viewed from the sky. I want to find the oldest tree with the climbing branches and carve our initials into it with my pocketknife and then apologize to the tree for hurting it. I want to get your name written on my knuckles like motorcycle gHopefully, prose will suffice.
